Right In Florida

Motto: This is what happens when Insanity and Banality come together.

Name:
Location: North Central Florida, United States

I'm an aging boomer, white male (cue scary music); not religious, mostly conservative. Married to the same woman forever. No kids-by choice (I believe in personal choice in most areas of life). Voted mostly Republican until November 2000 when the national Democrats tried to steal the election in Florida. I promised to never again vote for another Democrat; kept that promise to date.

And by the way

Boo!

Happy Halloween!

John Kerry speaks

Every time it should make us all glad that he was defeated in 2004. Just think what would have happened if he had won.

Republicans and conservatives were united that year. Well, it's now equally important.

Yet so many of those Republicans and conservatives are whining and considering sitting out this election.

Don't be a damn fool.

If you don't vote for every Republican you can, even if you cringe and feel a little dirty, you may have such regrets knowing that because of you, scum such as Kerrey will have won. You will have gained nothing and our nation will be harmed.

Democrats as a national party, at its leadership level, will destroy this country. Their win will be seen as vindication of their giving aid and comfort to our real enemies. Don't be a party to this.

Death on Florida's Turnpike

Authorities investigating the slaying of a family of four alongside a Florida highway said today that the father was probably involved in drug trafficking and that the suspected killer was in custody.
**************
The couple and their two young sons were found shot to death Oct. 13 off a desolate stretch of Florida's Turnpike near Port St. Lucie, about 50 miles north of their home in the Palm Beach County city of Greenacres.

Police searching the victims' home after the killings found evidence that the dead father, Jose Luis Escobedo, had been involved in cocaine trafficking, Drug Enforcement Administration agent David Weeks said in court papers filed Friday.
**************
I was on vacation when I heard this horrible story. Once it was established that the father didn't do a murder-suicide, I knew it was another Florida drug murder story.

Yet I'm sorry that I was apparently right.

Danny Rolling: RIP...In Hell!

Yeah, he's dead.

Good riddance.

Wish I could piss on his grave.

"Cut and Run Conservatives"

That's what Rush Limbaugh (deservedly) calls the week-kneed supposed conservatives who are throwing such a childish tantrum. Right now our warriors are fighting and dying in Iraq and Afghanistan to defend us, and these babies are threatening to make it for nothing.

Silliness! There are true enemies against us, and none are Republicans. I've been disgusted and pissed about some actions of President Bush and many Senate Republicans. But that is unimportant.

I will crawl through broken glass, naked, in order to vote for every Republican on the ballot. I know what is important.

The rest is infantile crap.

So sorry for your loss, Doyle

Doyle, of A Cool Change, has a post from this past Thursday that her husband died on October 9th. Her blog went on hiatus on September 24th because he had been in the hospital. Our prayers are for you, Doyle.

Been on a 2 week driving vacation

and boy is my butt tired! Mrs. Right and I returned last night from driving through a number of states, including New York and Pennsylvania. Very lovely scenery and we had a great time. It will take some time, however, before I'll feel normal again. Actually it'll take until Monday, when I go back to work. I was in touch through BlackBerry of course, so I know just what is waiting for me. My good vacation feeling will vanish sometime Monday morning. I'll blog about my trip soon. Good to be back.

Republicans are asses

Well, those who want Hastert and other Republican leaders to resign are.

Without the full understanding of what really went on.

Knowing full well the Democrats will use this as a bludgeon to retake the House.

Their screams are almost louder than the Democrat scum in the House and elsewhere.

This is not a mark of purity.

It's the skidmark of losers.

Fight, you bastards! Or shut the f*** up.

Quick Thoughts - Mark Foley

What's the big deal with what Mark Foley did?

Hmmm, let me see if I can connect the dots:

It's not because he's gay.

It's not because he's a pedophile.

It's not because he's a gay pedophile.

Because he's a Republican? That's it! Now I understand.

When it comes to sex scandals, no one does it better than Democrats.

Sex scandals are Democrat resume enhancers.

Sex scandals make Republicans resign.

Still waiting for the sex in this sex scandal.

Quick Thoughts-to catch up on September

Very light posting for a couple of weeks. Just to catch up, here are quick thoughts (okay, rants):

Clarence Hill was finally executed on 9/20. This was the brave murderer that got several idiots on the Supreme Court to stay his execution because lethal injection might hurt. Even so, "...the U.S. Supreme Court narrowly denied him another stay. Clarence Hill, 48, was executed for the 1982 murder of a Pensacola police officer in a savings and loan robbery. Hill, of Mobile, Ala., was pronounced dead at 6:12 p.m., never getting a hearing on the merits of his contention that the chemicals used in Florida's lethal injection procedure caused extreme pain and were unconstitutional. He stared straight at the ceiling and did not reply when asked if he had a last statement. He was wearing a white skullcap, and his head was strapped down, unlike some other executions." Boo Hoo. Apparently he found religion in prison and from the picture (and skullcap), I'm guessing it's the Nation of Islam's version of the 'Religion of Peace.' The bitch is that 4 "justices" were willing to give him another stay. Thanks to Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, David Souter and John Paul Stevens, this murdering scum could still be alive.

Rep. Mark Foley (R) for resigned, as of September 29. Bastard should be put in prison...for gross stupidity and hypocrisy. Same goes to every Democrat hypocrite...I try to be consistent. His problem is he should have been a Democrat. He wouldn't be praised (necessarily) but would have been forgiven and allowed to remain in the party after apologizing. Hey, wasn't there a gay Democrat congressman who had an actual sexual affair with an intern? Studds, wasn't it? Well, he got re-elected after that. And of course there was ol' Barney Franks' lack of judgment in choosing a paramour. But again, no Democrat scandal is political death anymore. Franks in an elder 'stateman' of his party. Republicans, on the other hand, throw out their embarrassing scum.

Chavez at UN. Quite a stir, wasn't it? I don't see why. It seemed to be a fairly typical news conference of Democrat leaders. Hell, same script.

Pope's scholarly presentation. Seems most of the world's Religion of Peace followers are intent on proving that there have been no changes to their religion since the 1400s. As in the beginning, violence is still the only response. The violence of psychotic children with learning disabilities. I'll say it again...this is the perfect religion for backwards peoples. Yeah, I know, only a small percentage are involved, blah, blah, blah. But notice how quiet it is from the supposed majority? They know how dangerous their religion is in the hands of millions of nutjobs. Yet, the only loud comments from them is how horrible it is that people judge them by the actions of a relative few. Well, dammit, prove just how few they really are. Instead of having a photo-op with representatives of other religions requesting understanding of the real religion of peace, how about loudly and longly complaining about the murdering scum among your religion. How about endorsing a 'jihad' against the hijackers of your religion? Just for starters. Then I'll listen to this 'poor picked on us' crap. (Yeah, I'm pissed. And no, I don't want to be considerate of others.)

That's it for now.
