In 1961 when I was born in Atlanta in Dr King's neighborhood, my parents would not have been allowed on Ft. Lauderdale beach or Palm Beach Island. Fifty years later, I was sworn in as the Congressional Representative of those same beaches. This nation elected a black president, not once but twice. Have we come far since the abolition of slavery, and Dr. King's march 50 years ago? Absolutely, but when we examine the state of America's inner cities, we must all be appalled. Dr. King talked about the Declaration of Independence and the guarantee of unalienable rights of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. But when it comes to life, over the past two score years, some 13 million black babies have been aborted. The black community would be 36% greater if not for this tragedy, this genocide. How many babies never got the chance to experience King's dream, the American dream? And why are there so few voices speaking up on these issues? In the last 50 years we have witnessed the complete breakdown and collapse of what once was the foundational strength of the black community, the family. We fought to break the chains of physical bondage, but today the chains of economic and social bondage are even greater.

I HAD a dream...

I HAD a dream that the Democrat party and its bosses would follow King's words and stop their entrenched race hatred and let all Americans live together as equals. 

Then I awoke.

Hey, Everybody....watch this!

Well, it seems our Nobel Peace Prize winning Prez, with Secretary Genghis Khan Kerry cheering him on, is about to wage war and kill more brown people. And his party and other lefties are quiet. What a difference an election makes and how easy to sell your soul for a bowl of pottage. Thanks Dems.

UPDATE:

For decades I dismissed the whole 'end of times' scenario. That depended on a weak and devastated America. Couldn't happen.

We survived that weak sister Carter and became stronger and more respected and/or feared under Reagan/Bush. (I'll take feared any day.) And the Soviet Union Fell!

Because of Reagan/Bush, we were strong enough to survive the "Nero" Clinton and then came back even more feared under "W" Bush.

But our gutless and divisive Dems elected a cypher who was raised by an American hating mother and spent formative years in an American hating part of the world. THEN willingly spent 20 years in an American and whitey hating church. 

And now this...ruled by America haters in an American hating world in which we are neither respected nor feared...with an economy dragging longer than any, ethics and common morality in the toilet, and racial divisions again at a maximum. 

Sooo....I no longer pooh-pooh the end of days.

And if Israel is attacked, the American hating world likely thinks that America will be on the sidelines. World War I began due to so much less, but with the same arrogance.
