I'm an aging boomer, white male (cue scary music); not religious, mostly conservative. Married to the same woman forever. No kids-by choice (I believe in personal choice in most areas of life). Voted mostly Republican until November 2000 when the national Democrats tried to steal the election in Florida. I promised to never again vote for another Democrat; kept that promise to date.

Gay Patriot honors an American hero

Bruce, the Gay Patriot, is honoring another one of America's true heroes, Gunnery Sgt. John D. Fry, who was killed the day before he was to return home. Bruce says "I am vowing to highlight our real life heroes in the War on Terror as I see them. Here is one that has a sad ending, but a Sgt. Fry is a hero for our times nonetheless." You are so right, Bruce. Thanks.
