Right In Florida

Motto: This is what happens when Insanity and Banality come together.

Name:
Location: North Central Florida, United States

I'm an aging boomer, white male (cue scary music); not religious, mostly conservative. Married to the same woman forever. No kids-by choice (I believe in personal choice in most areas of life). Voted mostly Republican until November 2000 when the national Democrats tried to steal the election in Florida. I promised to never again vote for another Democrat; kept that promise to date.

How I think voting will go

I'll be voting in a couple of hours and I'm feeling pretty confident in the result.

I was never as depressed as I would have been if I believed in the poll results over the past few months.

Because I don't believe the polls are accurate.

Not since 2000.

And especially this year.

Even the polling companies that try to get an appropriate number of Republicans and Democrats (they fail, of course) make an inherent mistake when it comes to "Independents" because of lies.

Most of these 'independent' responders are actually Democrats. And since they are Democrats, they are liars. Ergo, Democrats are over represented because a larger number of Democrats, leftists and (other) Bush-haters are polled.

So I remain confident that a maximum of only 10 House and 3 Senate seats will turn Democrat.

But maybe I need to check my medication level. I'm not usually so optimistic.

UPDATE (11/08/06)

No wait. It wasn't optimism. It was my drugs.

Now it makes sense.
